Group codes, also known as Stow block codes, are helpful for prioritizing and organizing containers within yard allocations as you prepare to discharge the carrier. For XPS operations, you use the Routing form in the N4 client to add group/stow block codes to containers.
You can see a list of the Group codes and their definitions in the Groups view.
To add group/stow block codes:
In the Routing form, select the Group field.
If you have selected more than one container, you must activate the attributes you want to edit by checking the box to the left. For this procedure, check the box to the left of Group.
If you have selected just one container, the Routing form opens with all of the attributes activated.
In the Group field, choose a group from the drop-down list.
Click Save. The Routing form closes, and N4 assigns the Group to the container(s).
